Walgops plans to use the tongue scraper to provide “faster and more efficient” cleaning methods for its store locations.
The company plans to unveil the device in September at the IFA consumer electronics trade show.
The tongue scrapper, which Walgop co-founder Scott Hockley invented and patented in 2013, uses a specially formulated adhesive and toothbrush bristles to help clean a product from the tip of the tongue to the bottom of the mouth.
The device has a capacity of 2.5 inches and can be used for up to five seconds.
Walgos competitors, such as K-Mart and Target, already offer tongue scraps in their stores.
The brand new tongue scrape will be available at the stores of the leading U.S. retailers including Walgens, Best Buy, Costco, Macy’s and Sam’s Club.
Hockles tongue scrapping machine was invented by Hockleys brother Scott, who also invented the device.
It was unveiled at the 2016 IFA trade show in Berlin.
The mouth scraper can be purchased for $60 at a Walgills website.
